"banned" books response
I honestly think that all books should be acceptable, and going by one of the writer's comments on the topic, "if you don't like it, just don't read it." To me, there isn't a definite line, but rather there should be at the very least, a clear warning depending on the contents. More touchy or controversial subjects will need more control of some sort to make sure it's contents are used responsibly. The people reading these kinds of literature should have a solid foundation of knowledge of the subject, good judgement, and a open mind to understand the writer's perspective.

At first you say, if you don't like it don't read it, then you say more touchy subject need more control. What touchy subjects? Who controls? Is it okay to write racial hate literature, or essays to encourage people to take over the government? Hmmm?
ReplyDelete- one of the writer's comments on the topic - plural
capital on If in the quotation
ReplyDelete"its contents" is possessive not a contraction, no apostrophe
